Employees who desire and qualify to further their education are encouraged to obtain their Early Childhood Education Degree through our tuition program. Employees that qualify for this program will have a written contract with the president of the corporation.
Employees are required to sign a written agreement to work for Tenders Years Academy Center for 3 years upon completion of their studies. If an employee terminates their employment within the first year, they will be responsible for paying back 2/3 of the tuition. If they terminate their employment before the end of the second year, they will be responsible for paying back 1/2 of the tuition costs. If they terminate their employment before the end of the third year, they will be responsible for paying back 1/3 of the tuition costs.
The corporate office recognizes that our employees are our greatest asset and must be retained. As such, it is upon them, in conjunction with the director, to annually survey the compensation practices of similar centers within the area. At the direction of the corporate office, Tender Years Academy Center shall ensure that employee compensation remains in the upper third of comparable childcare centers in the area.
Tender Years Academy Center may advertise available positions on the staff and parent board, and/or the local newspaper, and/or at Child Care Resources and Employment Security. Potential candidates are screened on the phone and the top three candidates selected for interviews.
